I know everyone on here must be upset by the current gas prices. It's freakin 1.88 for 93 here in VA Beach. But politically speaking, how does everyone feel about the US attacking Iraq and such? :o

politics isn't a good thing to get people started on, unless its a political forum lol. people get angry fast, especially liberals.

gas prices always go up wth uncertainty, the price of crude oil is already going down, and will be back at normal, or even lower than normal, just as there were after the gulf war in 1991.

It is unfortunately something that needs to be done. I hope the kids over there are not harmed and the people that mean well make it out ok. However saddam and all the terrorist organizations need to be put in check >:( so we can live in a safer world. I am shocked though that more countries dont have our back :o, saying he does not pose a threat and continue negotiations.It is clear after 12 years of negotiations that the man does not want to cooperate. How many more september 11s have to happen before we take action, you call that not a threat. The freak even gasses his own people. We need to set the people of Iraq free from harsh government.

It is weird that France especially does not have our back. How soon they forget that they are a free country because of the United States. They were once an oppressed nation like Iraq and we got rid of their evil leader. Hows about returning the favor!?

France, russia and china supply all of iraqs weapons and france supplys the rocket fuel.. that is why they agree to the fight if he uses chemical weapons..

The main reason no one wants he fight is We in the US are the main target. I am sure that if france was being threatened by anyone they would be screaming for us to come save them. If 9/11 happened to them it would be different.

I am not one for war. But there comes a time when that prick holding a gun to your head swearing he will shoot just has to die. How long can you stand there and say.. "please don't shoot me"

All I hear people at these protest say is don't go to war.. Well what would they like us to do? I know.. Don't go to war.. uh huh. Well when iraq starts blowing ---- up they will change their minds.. they always do.

Well my intention is not to get anyone pissed off with this thread, just to have peaceful conversations and hear some other opinions. I guess it's all the same though lol.

do your research ( note: not american published ) and maybe pay attention in a history class or 2.. really...

the thing is.. BUSH is a religious war mongering greedy bastard... he's a born again christian, hating on saddam cause he tried to kill his dad, AND wants iraq for oil..

You know WHY BUSH wants IRAQ? like all strong powers.. they rely on resources, once all the oil in the states have been extracted ( give or take 8-10 years ) the US will have nothing left... in order to KEEP the POWER and the military and the money, The americans MUST get IRAQ b4 the chinese or the russians get to it... it is a BIG strategic move.. IF the americans DO get Iraq then the USA would maintain it's WORLD POWERS... therefore justifying meddling into other peoples business like always

SADDAM HAS NO RELATIONSHIP WITH AL`QUEDA or OSAMA BIN LADEN!!!!!!!! SADDAM kills his people... doesn't matter what religion or whatever they are HE WILL KILL THEM... WHICH is opposite of what BIN lADEN is trying to do...

BIN LADEN is trying to unite the islamic people into fighting against the western civilizations... HE does not like saddam because saddam kills the islams...

what i fear the most is the lost of lives... everyone wants war.. everyone is a patriot... everyone is a bandwagon jumper... once the first soldier is killed... what now... a soldier died for WHO'S freedom? NOT the AMERICANS, NOT THE IRAQ PEOPLE, but for what? OIL? Everyone thinks it's gonna be a 2 hour war where all the bad guys die and the good guys provail... WRONG women and children will die during the bombing, American soldiers will die, Parents will grieve and then you realize... WAR is WRONG....

anyone that is PRO WAR are not a soldier, you do not have to put yourselves on the line for the supposed "FREEDOM" of your country, you are not overseas, you are not holding a rifle, you are not there... THINK about those that ARE going to war for YOUR country... thousands of men marching along the desert fighting for their country, as easily as a warm knife is cut through butter... a life can easily be taken.. please think b4 you want a war... because your not there doesn't mean you shouldn't care about those that are
