With bikes it really does come down to the rider. People read specs with pro riders and they think they can do the same thing...until they go to the track.

boosting a street bike is a dumbass idea. bikes like busas and liter bikes are alredy to fast to nail it in a straight line. one of the guys at the track has a busa motor on a car tire drag bike chassis and he runs 8.60's on it some fat *** guy has a boosted busa with a 9 inch swing arm and he cant even keep the front end down. he runs like 9.80's another guy has a stock red busa but hes a good rider and hes taken it down to 9.30's and a liter bike down to high 9's. my friends running a normal kz1000 motor from 1978 in a drag bike chassis and it runs low 11's high 10's depends on the air. bikes are way fast, if you actualy get on a drag bike and cut a 1 second 60 foot (low 8 high 7 second bike) it makes you feel sick to your stumache. i love it. im thinking about building a biuke for next season.
