Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
I have a Walbro 255lph fuel pump that I will be using with my turbo setup. I was wondering, will my car run super rich if I install it before I turbocharge the car?

Re:Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
it shouldnt...the fpr will just dump the extra fuel back through the return

Re:Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
awesome, thats what i was thinking, just wanted to double check before i did something stupid. thanks!

Re:Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
wait for someone who has done it to reply...but in theory ti shouldnt be a problem...and the worst that could happen is you run a little rich until you have an afc or whatever

Re:Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
You'll run a little rich. It raises fuel pressure a good amount.

Re:Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
it'll definitely run a little bit richer. I did it in my integra and the a/f went from a 14.3 to a 10.0 just from the pump. I think if you put bigger fuel returns you'll aviod the problem but who cares. lean it out with more boost

Re:Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
----, well its installed already. not much i can do about it now. and to whoever said to lean it out with boost....if you read my question, i was asking about installing it before boosting. well yeah, i guess it will be running rich. as soon as my safc gets here, ill lean it all out. does anyone have any recommendations as far as how much to lean it out across the rpm range to get it back to running like stock?

Re:Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
I ran my walbro 255 before going turbo for almost a month. Everything was fine, I couldn't notice any difference actually.

Re:Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
I didn't notice a change besides the pump being hella loud
