i've lived here in WA. for all my life, and yes the crime is gettin worse. it dont matter if you park your stuff in the garage. if they want it, they'll take it. suck like that. but i'm sure the crime is much worse in other area's.

Ive lived in both SoCal and Currently washington. I would say western washington is just as bad as SoCal.
its like a damned buffet for theives. If i still lived in seattle i probably wouln't even consider moding my car b/c i know i wouldln't have a safe place for it.

don't know if anyone remembers but this happened to me a little more than a year ago with my stock civic wheels. i found the ------- trying to sell them on torontocivics.com there was a thread about it. i'm still pissed whenever i think about it. i hope i see him again. i still remeber his liscense plate#.

Ya that kinda ---- happens here in Reno, NV....it sucks but thats what full coverage is for.....keep every reciept you ever get....if you have full coverage and reciepts you get lots more back from the insurrance...I just filed all of mine with state farm just in-case, they put an 11k value to my crx. It also helps to take pics of everything
