W. PA Meet? Flashlight drags - zelienople
 
This saturday, opens up @ the Zelienople Airport at 1:30 P.M. and races start at 3:30, ends at 7:30.

$5 to watch, $20 to race.

If you watch you can either park normally or enter your car in the car show.

A couple rules off the top of my head if you race,
  • Need current drivers license/inspection/registration
  • Need muffler(s)
  • Need DOT approved tires

So far Yuri (ichbinsobose) and Jon (jw0n0r) have said they're going.

Any other nignogs coming along? Yuri said he'd race.

also, if you race you get 6 "pink slips". you lose, you give one of them up. You win, you take your opponents. When you run out of pink slips you're done racing.

Can you confirm the time, date, etc? Just to be 100% sure? and where can we meet, who wants to ride in my whip and tell me what I'm doing wrong, etc. I want to learn this time around, and when I get my ehxuast fixed, then I want to reaaallly compete. + Bring cameras of all sorts!

Also, directions?

Yea I needed a little more notice and i may have considered the drive out but the rex isn't completely done yet and/or tuned but i am anxious to get a good run down the track with it :y

Zelienople, It's pretty much straight north of Pittsburgh

Date Gates Open Racing Times
Saturday, September 9 1:30 p.m. 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, October 14 1:00 p.m. 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.
It's just a little airport that they close down for the evening and race on the runway. It's not a huge professional track production last time i went but I havn't been able to make it all year this year. It was a good time though, I should be makin the oct. 14th one.

so no time clocks? and crappy traction from too many people using regular street tires. do they run 1/8th or 1/4? it would be fun if it was'nt so far away
