it's a discussion that ive with a guy... i go with vtec of course but the VVTL-I is a good system too.. was wondering what do you think...

It's another component to fail. Just get hotter cams.

 

Generally the manliest cams for non turbo hondas eliminate vtec anyways. Its there for stockers with boltons and turbo noggers.

 

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but vtec failure doesnt really equal any damage. All it does is not turn on. Big deal.
VVTL is simpler but you cant really adjust it as easily as Vtec and its meant for less racy high reving sexuality.
