vtec shift light?
can u use one of those proform shift lights to activate vtec? is so how, just by spliceing into the light wire?

Re:vtec shift light?
why would you wanna do that? the ecu controls vtec so much better by adjusting the fuel and spark curves

Re:vtec shift light?
you can, but you're better off with a v-tec ecu or a V-afc (is what they are trying to say ^^^)

naw im staying obd0 i dont wanna mess with all that sensor ----, im just going to buy a msd switch but was wondering if i could just use a shift light.

Re:vtec shift light?
you could, but you are better off with a vafc, that way you can correct for fuel in v-tec

Re:vtec shift light?
summit sells those dial shift lights now for like $30 they are pieces of ---- though, my proform one only works when it wants to.

Re:vtec shift light?
I'll trade the proform light for a rpm switch if you really want the light function with it ;D

Re:vtec shift light?
hook it up to ur shift light then when v-tec hits it'll lean out cuz it doesn't have the ecu to add xtra spark n fuel during vtec. almost like a timebomb.. the vtec is the ticking noise u hear before BOOM! lol jk but i dont think it would be as effecient as vafc or a vtec ecu
