That's why Americans are hated so much. No respect for anyone. Most Americans have no concept of an outside world and that there are people out there (the rest of the world) that really don't like them because of stupid ------- posts like the one I just quoted.

It would appear (based on the VP debates), that Cheney just doesn't want to talk about it... But what makes me nuts about the whole "gay" issue is that most of you guys don't seem to have a problem with lesbianism... Imaging yourself tightly sandwiched between two chicks that are repulsed by your very being and want nothing to do with your penis. :D

Besides, marriage is a religious institution and should not be regulated or sanctioned by the US government. Every "marriage" should be converted to a civil union (same sex or not) and if you really feel the need to have your vows blessed by the church, then do it in a separate ceremony that leaves the govt. out.

But realistically... gay people lack a few civil rights that are GUARANTEED to every American. Taking them away because of who they're attracted to is just flat out racist.
