Virgin 94 Accord EX (Pics)

Okay, so here's the deal.

I just turboed my 94 Accord EX not too long ago and have grown to love it; the only downfall is it's an automatic.

So, for the past 6 months, even before the recent turbo install, I had been looking for a 94 Accord complete with a stick. ---- finally paid off when this guy agreed to sell his car for 400 dollars complete with everything.

Only problem is, he ran it through water, which doesn't concern me, because all I'm after are the trans and other things; axles, shift linkage, gauge cluster, and all the other minor things. ----, we're actually going to take a closer look at the motor and see how much damage he has done to the internals (If any at all). ----, I'll even part some of the car out, if any of you guys see something you like. Let me know, and I'll see what I can do. It's a PARTS car only.

Think I got jipped? Let me know, I'd like some input, if any of you guys care.

Oh, and don't worry, once I pull the ---- out, the motor will be built to it's fullest extent and see 15lbs of boost. (You guys were right, once you get boost, you'll want more) I might even upgrade the turbo to a KKK turbo off an Audi I've got lying around the shop, but I don't know; after porting the Saab turbo I'm using now, boost jumps up to 9lbs and pulls hard.

BOOST IS ------- ADDICTING! :y

Here are some snapshots.

I think I actually stole the whole car for that kind of money. I'll let you guys know in the near future if I get the bitch started or not. Like I said, we'll be looking into that tomorrow as to what happened and what's broken.

LOL

I take it you have an auto cluster in yours?

That'll be definitely one thing I will be replacing in mine, I can't stand looking at that D4,P,R ----.

youre gonna need a bigger turbo than that lame ass audi turbo or that pea shooter saab turbo. You need to go at least T3 60/63. I guarantee the car will be WORLDS FASTER than it is now

i dont know if it is the same but if you do a auto to 5 speed swap in the 90-93 accords you need special mount to compete swap. the chasis mounting locations are different

Just transfer your current motor to the new car.

It looks tons better than your riced out piece of ----.

It'll make life way easier. No disassembling of pedals and no worrying about wiring or having the correct mounts. Just drop your running engine into that one.

Get a real turbo.

Would if I could, but the car has a certificate of destruction. :'(

Trust me, I would if I could, but I think it would be more fun doing the swap and building the motor anyways.

What I'm prolly going to end up doing is take that engine out and build that one while I'm driving my boosted Accord for right now. I've been looking at some forged internals and ECU/Injectors.

Only problem is rods are like 700 for four, which is ridiculous. No cam I have found yet for the f22b1.

Anyone build this motor up? Injectors? High/low impedence? Peak and hold or sat?

Bigdaddyvtec mentioned using a P28 ecu.

Anyone have ideas on all of this ----? I guess not many boost the f22b1 with forged internals and ----.

Let's see if I can get some porn to work this time. :y

My goal with the turbo I'm using is 300hp. That would be a nice number since I plan on using it as a daily driver.

Could my setup with a chipped ecu and injectors see that type of power? How much boost to make it happen?

Still confused on which type of injectors to use, and what year the p28 ecu comes off of. Any good ideas on a clutch?

Btw, I just spoke with a local guy who brought his car down to the shop today and has had experience with Crome, so he'd help me out in tuning it and ----. ::)
