Stock numbers
curb weight 3100 lbs
505 hp @ 6300 rpm
470 ft-lbs @ 4800 rpm

gas mileage 16/city 26/highway

stock numbers
curb weight 3380 lbs
510 hp @ 5600 rpm
535 ft-lbs @ 4100 rpm
gas mileage 12/city 20/highway

Numbers wise it's pretty much neck n' neck.. It's up to the driver. I think the Corvette would be a funner car just because of the better handling and it's not as "gauddy" looking than the Viper. Theres more leg and head room in the Corvette. I'd turbo a Z06 anyday over a Viper.

No it doesn't. Car and driver just did a comparion a few months ago and the vette beat the viper in just about every test. It won the handling tests by quite a decent margin. ---- vipers

I think they were more referring to how it handles not neccesarily the grip it has.I would rather have a Viper because every jack *** has a Vette and they lost the appeal when you see tons of them around.488 Cubes to boost just gets me excited vs a motor you better not ---- as it is pretty exotic in construction.

The vid said 488, does that mean the vid is right? No. But that's what it said.

I was expecting to see like a KKK volkswagen turbo or like a 42/48. That ---- would probably be out of it's effeciency range blowing hot air, while just putting around town, lol.

ah i didnt notice that, they probably de-stroked it a little bit when they built the motor. all viper motors are 500cid from the factory
