Video Editing Software suggestions
I have a Sony Handycam DCR-DVD408 and I need a well rounded video editing software for a few things personal and commercial.
I have no experience with this, but I have a quick learning curve when it comes to these types of software and using them.
Anyone have any suggestions on freeware or relatively inexpensive-ware for some video editing software?
Thanks!

I've used Ulead Video Studio and it's great, easy to use interface too.

Re: Video Editing Software suggestions
I was going to suggest Adobe Premiere if you want an all-out fully-featured video editing software.
But, Ulead is something I've used before and it's easy to use and has quite a bit of features. I was actually trying to remember the name of this a few days ago, glad you made this thread :P

Re: Video Editing Software suggestions
windows movie maker
its already on your comp
and it gets the job done with a variety of compression for file size manipulation with minimal quality loss
you can easily take a 10-20mb video file and have it under 1mb without much effort and loss of watchability
not sure what all you are getting into
but if you are talking about some short clips for your website to help customers with basic installations..etc...
movie maker will git 'er dun
