Default Video Card

Well I got a ne video card and I couldn't get it to work. Then I read the instructions and it said I had to unhook or disable my intergrated video card. I cant figure out how to do that. Anybody have an idea. It plugs into a white slot if that helps.

You onboard video may be jumpered, where you have to move a jumper on the motherboard or you can disable it in the bios.

What plugs into a white slot? The integrated video wouldn't plug into anything.

BTW the color does not matter. You need to know the type of slot.

The new video card plugs into the white slot. I didn't see any jumper on it but I can check it again.

f1, delete, or maybe f2 will be the BIOS key. the window that first comes up when booting should display this.
