Uh, I'm pretty sure this is how it went down.

This whole area (what is now Mexico and the US) was inhabited by a native people. The Spanish, who got here before Columbus, killed and raped these native peoples. These people are what we now called Latinos. The Spanish had control of that big ass area, until we aquired all that through the Louisiana Purchase. So, since some mothafuckas got owned first, they have to compain that this is "their" land. No mother fuckers, it's not yours. The people who is belongs to are dead, so ------- deal with it.ß

you know it makes me sad to see "politicians" use the word "redneck". It shows the ignorance in our community. Its like they're making it a racist issue(even though sometimes that what it seems like ,specially when the guys that make posts like this have american x avatars), instead of educating the latinos of the effects of illegal immigration or trying to improve the legalization process. I don't have nothing against them, just worried about them "taking over" like was stated. When your grocery stores have everything in english AND spanish, there are too many. Actually, it wouldn't be ok. Mexico has super harsh laws against immigration such as:

Student visas are only given to those who can show bank account info that shows they can support themselves.
Retirees have to show a net worth of a large amount before they are accepted.
No matter how long you're there, or how long you've been a mex citizen, you can NEVER vote. (ever)
You CAN NEVER (EVER) publically protest anything the government does. (hmm, I recall a million of them protesting ours in LA) :S

It seems like a simple economics issue to me, but more often than not people want to pull the race card and the majority of the people see it as "take the side of your people, or the white racists". It's the exact way the mexican politicians want it to be. They don't want to help anybody fix the legal routes of becoming a citizen, they want you to think that it's the mexicans vs. the white racists. The two people on any ballot in Ca will be a mexican one, and a white one. If the mexican one can paint it as a racism issue, than all the mexicans vote for him (which is the only goal he has) Not to help anyone. Not to make thier lives better. If there were as many crack smoking rednecks (yeah, I hear that's a huge problem ::)) as there were illegals flowing over the border you might have a valid thought. When there are white trash, nigs, mexi's, and everyone else taking from the system and not producing anything, "The ---- if I care if more want some" isn't exactly a great attitude. Maybe one day the whole country will be on welfare and you'll be the lone guy paying into the system taking care of everyone except you. Then we'll see if you care. ;)
Not being worried about an illegal taking your job is basically saying you have some higher education that requires you to do ZERO manual labor. If that's the case, then play on playa, but I don't think you realize which positions that used to be called "skilled positions" are being taken by illegals at the expensive of the customer. You get less, and the boss pays them less, but you still pay more. In the end, it's the company that makes more, while everyone else's standards for business drop. Which non labor job do you work, and where did you get the superior education that the illegals can't touch?
