Very Little burnout action...

I dont know if you nigs can even see this...its not much, but I cant ever get my hands on a camera, so...
300+foot burnout mark in my school parking lot. :P

I was doing donuts while some poor girl was trying to learn to drive...then I came by and gave her and her mom the shocker...good times.

BTW, since the video sucks and is a waste of time to watch, her'es a question:

Since I am consistently laying down two equal, fat lines of rubber, does mean theres an lsd in the tranny? AFAIK theres no chance in hell of that, but it always leaves good lines like that, even around turns.

Get a shot of your temp gauge ;) Unless you fixed that already

ichbinsobose 06-05-2006 07:27 PM

Re: Little burnout action...

Haha yea, I suck ass...I will try to get some good ones this weekend, good burnouts are not worthy of a ------- cellpohone quality camera.

Nah, temp gauge is good until it runs low on water...which will be around this friday. I keep a few bottles of poland spring in the car, toss it in each weekend. :6

our school's last day for seniors is next friday, so i'll post up some vids saturday :6

on a side note, i pulled a fat burnout at my old job's parking lot on my last day, left a nice 2-line 150 footer going in front of where the manager parks O0

next time you jack the car up, make sure your not in gear and spin one of the wheels by hand. if the other one doesn't spin at all or spins opposite your spinning, no LSD for you. if you spin the wheel and the other does the same, LSD :6

parking brake: check
clutch in: check
1st gear: check
RPM's @ 6k: check
DUMP THE CLUTCH AND FLOOR IT!

dumping it at 6k should garuntee a nice one even if it's a N/A d15

Come on man, when I was 16 I lit the tires off my CRX like there was no tomorrow. Ebrake action, clutch in, bouncing off the rev limiter in 1st and dump the clutch. Threw it into second and continued to burn, let off since I couldn't afford new tires haha... surprisingly my cousin's neighbor loved it... turns out he was a car guy.

except do it in 2nd gear not first.

To an earlier post about spinning the wheels on jackstands that method wont let you know either. I have a quaife and both tires do not spin together :) The only way to tell is by removing an axle and looking for a diff pin. No pin = LSD. The reason you lay two marks is your shitty ass skinny tires. Put on some slicks and take it to the track let me know what happens :)

Re: Little burnout action...

now this right here, is a burnout

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/8...b6440425c8.htm

you should have minimum ^that^ much smoke when your done. my big one from last years last school day covered the parking lot and stayed in the car for 2 blocks with windows down/sunroof open. oh yea i completely forgot, my avatar is about 5 seconds into it :6

Sure will, hoping for good ---- this friday. + it was a smelly indian, not really a friend. Kid fucks up all my videos by making noises.
I'll try a 2nd gear burnout, hate to kill my falkens like this, but we, the cool internet people told me to do it. :P

Re: Very Little burnout action...

I'll roast the both rear tires until they pop on my truck here in a few days. My camera only takes 15 second vids though. :l I figured out that the torque management(traction control) gives out after you hammer it for a while and it realizes you're not going to let it NOT do a burnout. >:D I held that fucker at 5000 and destroyed the tires along with the intersection at the bottom of my old street. I had to leave the neighbors something to remember me by. :6

Re: Very Little burnout action...

My mates civic had no LSD but always made two solid lines.
I think it can be clutch related as on the old/ standard clutch it never used to do it , but then with the super heavy duty clutch it looked like it had LSD with the two lines it made ;D

Dr.Boost 06-06-2006 11:30 PM

Re: Very Little burnout action...

I've had many non-lsd trannies that made two burnout marks consistantly. Still not the same as an actual LSD obviously....
