A very fortunate last night...

I ran into a guy I knew a long time ago at Schuck's and he was driving an FX-16. He said he had a spare 4A-GE sitting around that needed to be rebuilt but ran when stopped. Well, I'm not one to turn down a free engine so I followed him and threw it in the back of the All-Trac. This morning I realised upon closer inspection that he had given me a very special motor- the big port TVIS 4A-GE with 7 rib block. According to everything I know that block has the oversized rod journals and 20mm wrist pins as well as oil squirters factory for cooling the pistons. I'll take 'er down tonight and if it is what I think it is, I'll find a way to get some pictures up of my trick little bitch.

Nice present man.
I wish I could get a free engine...like a b16 or at least a spare ZC ;)

If he didn't recognize what he had, he didn't deseve to have it. Good score. :)
