i can see how they did it in a way because she was pretty far along and when you have an abortion i think you have to be before two or three months. and he knew she was pregnant and they obviosly had already named the baby. i hope he gets ass raped for what he has done. if she wasn't pregnant then i would probly say "what did that bitch do to piss him off?".

But theres no way in my mind that the jury just made the right desicion, they had absolutely no physical evidence, no eye witness, no murder weapon, no cause of death and no wya to place him at the scene other than hes been fishing in the bay before.

There was just absolutely no evidence against him, the jurors made there descisions based on instinct and the fact that he was having an affair and he must be a bad ass guy

Im sure he actually did do it, but theres no way thed had the evidence to convict him to life in prison.

W O T, I have the exact same opinion. Although I think 100% he did it, to give a man life in prison, possible death, on purely circumstantial evidence is just... lets just hope he did do it..

I had no idea all of you guys sat in the courtroom through this case. ???

The guy went fishing and it wasn't even fishing season. In a three month period during "non fishing season" there were three boats that launched from that boat launch. One was his on a fishing trip by himself? With concrete residue that was also found back at his shop? The guy is a scumbag liar and he should be shot in the nads. None of us were in the courtroom, but I'm sure you can assume the jury didn't just rush to judgement. The guy did a poor job of planning his wifes death, and now he has to pay. :)

GULTY biatches. Glad that guy's locked up. he had everything going for him. A good looking wie, a kid on the way, probably a good job... Why would he just ruin it like that? Some people really scare me with their lack of common sence :-\

I've never heard of this case or any of these Peterson people. Was he famous? I'm guessing he wasn't since they found him guilty....

Nah he wasn't a famous person or anything. He murdered his wife and unborn child. They found the body of the mother and the body of the fetus in the water. I think they were on a boat or some ---- on a Holiday.

The guy was on the phone with his mistress at his wifes candle light vigil. :o
After the mistress went to the cops they kept quiet and started having her record calls to him. He told her on tape, "I want to tell you everything I know, but I just can't". Yeah, he didn't do it. :P

Anyway, I think he did it. If he didn't do it, who did? Some crazy satanic cult like the defense team or police proposed?(don't remember which one that came up with that bright idea). It was pretty obvious the guy didn't want to take care of his resposibility and instead play mr. bachelor. But he realized he couldn't have that much of a comfortable single life paying alimony and child support. So he did the most vile thing he could do and kill his wife and soon to be born child. In the end I hope he gets what deserves. I don't care if it's getting owned by Big Bubba in the big house or by lethal injection.
