How do I sell a giant piece of metal. It's a bare *** shell. Nobody is going to buy an empty shell. There is nothing to sell off it. It's the body of what was once a car.

i stripped my car then cut it up in pieces when i smashed it. every thursday the garbage man got a nice heavy bag

i did this partly because it was stolen when i bought it. the vins were changed and the vin inside the engine bay was grinded off.

i believe you are supposed to notify the DMV at least in cali when you sell a car.

you could say it was stolen and you didnt notice until now?

Ok, there is no proof that I didn't hand him a notarized title. It's out of my hands. If he didn't tranfer the title over into his name, that's not my problem, right? How the ---- can I be resposible for this? I sold the ******. How can you sell a vehicle to someone and not have the damn thing in your name anymore without them transfering the title? I owned my truck for a year before I tranfered the title into my name.

God damn it....

What's the worst case scenario? How bad can I get fucked for this? I'm not taking the car. What are they going to do?
you my friend are fucked. Unless you have documents stating that you sold the car to him, you are fucked. Being that you are the REGISTERED owner, YOU are responsible for the car. If you say you sold it, they'll say why didn't you send in the 'Release of Liability' form, you say cause he's my friend, they say tough luck

You should go directly to the closest DMV, and give them the bill of sale with your exfriend's name and address. That way its under his name not yours.
