well my friend works at airborn coatings. and he told me they heat up the valve cover to get all the ---- off, then they sand blast it next they spray a green coat of some ---- on it, goes back in oven, then he puts it in a machine with thousands of these little ceramic balls finaly shey shine it with some other ----. i think thats how it goes ::)

my cousin works at a powder coating place....he did my valve cover also in "jet black" im thinking of doing my header and intake....that be pimp...

Re:valve cover (pics)

The machine that was used was a commercial polisher that has ceramic media in it which does all the polishing. The guy that did all my thermal coating has one.

Which airborn coatings CT?

Re:valve cover (pics)

you know you don't need a breather filter on your intake pipe, there's supposed to be a filter on the other end.

crx2fast 02-24-2004 10:40 PM

Re:valve cover (pics)

why cant i put a breather on the filter pipe- because little kyle says so :P. its not hurting anything i dont want a rock or any other ---- gettin in there. and for my body kit- it actual cools the brakes better and will have a nice opening for a nice fmic and ways about half as what the stock bumper did. and there was damage to the origal bumper and this was actauly cheaper than getting the stock bumper. and to thos who dont like the blitz front end, im just sick of seeing the same mugen kit on a crx. yea i know im NA. but thats why i came here to HMT. to change that. well thanks to the people who liked it ;)
and to the people who didnt- i like looks as i do performance :-\
