Oh, and its prefectly safe to put a turbo on a VTEC engine, infact VTEC with turbo is a very good setup. Here is a site you might want to check out since this one is too advanced for you my young noob. www.honda-tech.com |

Re: v-tec motor with turbo
i would always turbo a vtec- they are built to run high R's and take the abuse- not to mention the whole 20 extra horsepower right off the bat ;D

I've seen using high mileage V-tech cylinder heads in "speshul builds" come home on a few people, and they weren't shooting for a power level that a simple LS head w/ pump gas couldn't have gotten them. Completely JDM gay. |

It aint boost, but it's still the funniest ------ thing I have seen in a long time. Almost pissed my pants. |
Re: v-tec motor with turbo
Vtec with anything is good, like gaspoop and vtec= greatness, so for the turbo thing a turbo vtec is like hot scally.

Re: v-tec motor with turbo

Re: v-tec motor with turbo
I don't know about you guys, but some of my earliest memories dealing with cars stuck in my head because of their badass lumpy idles. BBRUMPH BBRUMPH BBRUMPH, almost dying at idle, that's the coolest thing I've ever heard. I love the technology that the new class of cars brings to the table, but nothing will spin my head around like hearing a badass lumpy cam.

Re: v-tec motor with turbo
i'm just wondering how you ask a question like that knowing that your going to get answers like all the rest of them you won't have any trouble with boost as long as you have fuel management, and knowing what your doing.
