usb to serial adapter
 

what up. is there any body that can tell me were I can buy an adapter for my piece of ---- laptop so that I can plug my usb cable into the serial port.another words I have a usb plug so that I can mess with the uberdata stuff on my p75 but I have no usb port on my laptop so Im stuck.please dont tell me radio shack cause I went there with the laptop and plug and explained what I needed and they looked at me like as if I was trying to put a v8 motor on a lawn mower.
any help will be appreciated

not just any converter will work. be sure it has the 5v ttl to serial converter built in.
