believe whatever you want.

torque + good gearing = good mileage.

im not going to explain it, because getting damn near 30mpg happens all the time with turbo mustang, esp ones with stock rear end gearing.

i can press the gas down a ---- HAIR and out accelerate any normal car. i can go up hills with a ---- hair of throttle, and most 4 bangers would have to shift down and go at least half throttle.

hills i used to climb 3/4th throttle when my car was NA, now i dont even touch the gas and the turbos spool up and i go straight up the hill with ease

around town my auto shifts up at 1500rpms. i can cruise and accelerate in OD at 35mph. and 1200rpms

I had no idea Mustangs were economy cars. All hail the Mustang! Gobs of power to charge up hills with only a ---- hair of throttle, outrun "normal cars" with only a ---- hair of throttle, and still get 25mpg! Why is everybody buying hybrid cars to save on gas? We should all be buying Mustangs!

I guess my Mustang is defective. I'm lucky to get 19 highway and 14 around town it almost gets the same mileage as a 3400lb car with a V8. However having an automatic probably does make a big difference. I cruise at 3,000rpms but I'll trade a few mpg for having a non-feminine transmission

You must not have a "Super Mustang"! You should do the "Super Mustang" conversion.

my fox weights 3150lbs

you just have a shitty year motor wise. when you have to gas the ---- out of it to move, its not going to get very good mileage. those years 4.6 mod motor are some of the most underpowered

you guys can believe whatever you want... do i have to video tape myself driving 300 miles for you to believe me? i'll just keep enjoying the mileage and power i can get out of a turbo stock longblock 302 motor.
