It was the safest method of payment the seller listed. He has to show ID to cash your check and there would be bank records and a signature showing that he cashed the check. __________________

---- dude, its OBVIOUSLY a scam. have you ever looekd on ebay for turbo kits? about 45% of em are scammers. ---- dude, use that lump 3 feet about yer *** for once. 8 feedback, none sellin, but lets buy a $1300 turbo KIT off himm cuz it sounds liek a good deal. general rule of thumb "if its too good to be true, it more than likley is"... you deserved to be scammed for bein such a dumbfuck

that isnt a bad deal, if you receive the kit. $1,100 for a new turbo, IC, manifold, WG, etc etc. If you send him a check, you have a 100% full traceable transaction. you could also mail that check certified, so he has to sign for it. That is how I would do it.
also, make sure you have full 100% ID on this ******. im assuming that he has a "distributer" who he buys the ---- from, bacially, he has access to buy these kits at a certain price, so when he gets your money, he buys a kit and they ship it from there warehouse.
there are all kinds of places like ekeystone.com who he could do this through. i would put money on it, when you get the product, it will not be shipped from his door.
