Urethane trailing arm bushing a bad thing?

I have to change the TA bushings on my Concerto and I've ordered the new ones.
I'd like to fill them also with 3M window weld, as the car's already lowered and with koni's, but it's too soft in the rear.

Some people say urethane TA bushings is a big no-no, but I'm not convinced. Anyone tried it??? Or know someone who knew someone whose friend's friend had tried it???

yes, it is a bad thing.

Mugen hard rubber or OEM rubber........or if you got $$$$ sperichal bearing units.........

This is coming from the Honda suspension engineer who tweaked the Acura TL Type S and also races SCCA ITA running one of my custom built trannys.

Almost $3000 in that bastard!

Yeah, I wonder why too...

The mount flexes on multi-axis, the binding increase effective spring rates, thus making the suspension "go solid".......

no suspnesion compliance = bad handling car.

Factory is all I would run, Mugen is nice too if you have the money.

Search H-T, there's tons of threads with pics and lots of info showing that poly bushings in lots of places wear out quick and can't perform as well as a new OEM replacement.

I hear it also makes the car easier to control at the limit with the stock bushings plus it doesnt fatigue the suspension and related fasteners nearly as much as solid or urethane bushings
