Saw a b16 with a boost gage hooked to a port on the im and the gage showed almost zero vac, and preactically no boost. Switched to a different port and it showed 26" vac and 12-15 boost. Not sure wtf the port was I jsut moved the line and plugged the weird port.
You can slap a coupler and a tapped PVC cap from lowes or any hardware store over the inlet of your turbo and run a regulated airline to it. Then as you slowly increase pressure check with a squirt bottle of soapy water for any boost leaks. As you do this pull the dump tube off your wastegate and see what pressure it really opens at. Kill two birds with one stone.
