Upgraded my turbo today... <<PICS>>
 

Ok so i've been spooling a small ass T25 off of a 300zx for last few months, and a couple of days ago i got a package with my new turbo... a Ball Bearing T28 off of a JDM Silvia, specs on the old turbo are .54 turbine and A/R .48, new turbo is .64 turbine and A/R is .60... car needs alot of tuning because at this time it runs like ass :-[

yeah i'll be running an open down pipe for a few days untill i can go over to my friens shop and run a pipe to my catback...

After the install i went for a test drive and after i came back and turned the car off i could hear some sound coming from the engine bay, so i was like WTF? poped the hood, and it was my turbo still spinning for like good 20-25 seconds after the car was off... BALL BEARING POWAAAA NIGGA

nice....be sure to let it idle for a bit like that after a good run, you dont want that shaft spinning without oil going threw it!!!! what kind of spool time you getting with that??

I am at full boost right around 3500 RPM, and yeah that thing wasn't that cheap... $400 shipped from Japan

i just bought a t3 turbo with the same trim but its not BB. i would like to know (after your tuned) what your #s are.

yeah lot's of tuning needs to get done, it pulls way stronger then the old turbo for sure, i'll post some #'s when i'll get it tuned
