-srp 8.8:1 pistons with gapless rings
-arp head studs
-thicker head gasket
-stock rods for now...didnt have enough for eagles and the cost too notch was way to much for me right now
-JG cylinder head, JG502T cam, mild port job, 3 angle valve job, new valves, and definetly some after market springs, but not sure what kind
-johnny race car fmic
-custom 2.5 mandrel IC piping made by me
-BMC log manifold
-fastturbo oil lines
-450 dsm with turbo edit base map
-dsm bov
-tial 35mm wastegate
-T3 .60/.63 just rebiult out of a thunderbird

i will get pics once i get my bmc manifold, and just gotta finsh up a little bit of piping of the turbo.

total cost
motor:$2000.00
turbo parts:$1000.00

its not quite homemade but i sure couldnt have done it with out the help of this site. i learn something new everyday here and cant thank you guys enough...

I would wait till you have the rods to put it together. Your only as strong as your weakest link and it would be a shame to loose all that money when a rod goes...

im having a shop around here put the motor in. so that part is taken care of. as for the turbo install part...im not sure if im gonna do it myself or have this shop put it on. ive done one before on the d15b2 that is in the car so i know what im doing. im not sure if i have enough self control though to break in this motor with the turbo kit on. but if i need help i let you guys now. and acutally i might be in need of your guys help if your interested. i have been talking to bermenator...he is a member on here and he wants help installing and hmt kit on his civic. its alot for me to do myself so if you guys would be interested i could definetly use the help. hes planning on paying me i think so if he does we could all split it.
and whitey i know that i should have spent money on the rods, but this car has been out of action since february this year. plus im only gonna be boosting 6psi. i bought the scat and eagle h beams and both hit the main girdle which i ahve never heard of before. im thinking about get some ls rods and throwing them in after i get this thing running how i want it. but i really just need this car as a daily driver till i get my wrx. crxtfast csaddict let me know if youd be interesting in helping me install that kids kit whenever that happens. ill let u two know what the plans are when he calls me

i fianlly took my hatch for a drive and that mpfi swap sure did give it some power. i havent driven it for about 5 months but what i remember it as was incredibly slow. just swaping that intake manifold on and basically converting it to an si was really worth it. gave it a lot more low end power but top end is a little bit slow. im also reving to 7400 now not 6800. with that new motor in and the turbo kit this thing is gonna be a B EAST ...
man i cant wait
