Did you decide that was going to be something to stick with you for the rest of your life? I want some more tattos, but I can't think of anything original that I would want to stain into my skin for the rest of my life.

Looks like purple sperm. Just an observation. I'm sure it will turn out nice though. I want some more tats also but I only get them in places that can't be seen when wearing a normal T-shirt and shorts (for job purposes), i.e. I get them on my back and upper biceps. The next tat I'm getting is a custom hammerhead shark on my right biceps to go along with my other shark. My plan is to get about 5 or 6 sharks.

I have the Notre Dame fighting Irish leprechaun on my shoulder. I was 12 and it sounded good at the time....and I'm Irish. :-\ My brother has "Irish Pride" in big old English letters on his back. Black people in Phoenix didn't care for that one too much while we walked down Mill Ave/Van Buren. :-X

I'd get some ink someday too but I too would want something that has meaning to ME, not just some picture off a wall you know? I'd put up with the pain and bleeding if it was something that had meaning.

It doesn't really hurt. It's more of an annoying sting than anything(depending on where you get it).

well my others have meaning, i have "one child" on one arm in kanji, because im an only child, i have the christian fish with the ixoye accrostic in it, which stands for "jesus, christ, god, son, savior", becuase i am a christian and believe in all of the above, and on the other arm i have a cross made out of nails, symbolizing the obvious, this one was just more of a "this is my life, this is what i want to do, and like this one" tattoo, i may end up getting a half sleeve done on one arm later on, not right now though, the purple will be toned down and darkened a good bit during the next session, so its not so bright

ill tell ya i wont reccomend anyone getting one on their forearm, the top doesnt really sting that bad, but the underside aruond your wrist almost made me cry, especially when he went over it the first time and then adjusted the needle further out and went over everything again :-X

Looks good :) How long do you sit in the chair for per session? Most of the guy's I know who get them go an hour here on an hour there because it's about $100/hr. in my area. Pluss there all smaller tattoos.

are you tring to cover all your freckals? :P I like the flames but the purple's not doin it for me :-\ I was going to do one set of flames over another with nothing but shading (greys) but I decided someday I will be old. ;)

my sessions last anywhere from 1-1.5hrs, i paid up front $225, so i wont have to pay anything else, and the purple will be toned down after the last session when he puts the darker colors in and bleeds it all together so no worries there, and spenser tell your mom i still apologize about her not being able to ---- right for a week, ill go easy on her next time

You dont seem to take the purple well. The color may set better after it skins over once then peels though. I may get some more ink this year. Looks nice though.

Just curious, why did you decide to do multiple sessions? Something small like that would have easily been grilled in one session.

The only other things i have done to my body is a guaged ear and a brand on my arm.

i didnt choose to go multiple sessions, but id rather do it that way, we had about 1.5hr in the outline, and we did about 1.25hrs of shading, this time, and hes planning atleast another hr of shading, i dont know if it looks small to you but it goes from wrist to just below elbow all the way around, the outline was obviously done single line, and then he went back and fattened the lines up, thats why that part took so long, and as for the color, he wants the purple to heal first so he can put the darker colors on top and around them to finish it off, plus doenst help hes the tattooist of choice for the local "minor league hockey team" we have, everytime i go in there theres one of them in there getting something done, they never go big though, always like 75-80$ tattoos???
