Update on Kyle's life, because it's 5:42am and I don't want to go to sleep
 

hello there friends and enemies,

I haven't been around too much, my car hasn't been running so I haven't really been into car forums lately. Friday night I was activated as a member of Tau Kappe Epsilon fraternity, Alpha Omicron chapter, scroll number 1137 nickname Pacman. I don't really know what the whole HMT outlook on frats is, I'm thinking it's going to be negative because when I was here all the time I felt like I had the HMT mentallity and I was against frats. I can't really explain why I joined, but I think it's one of the best decisions of my life, you can't really understand it unless you're a member of a fraternity yourself. We partied like ----------ers tonight. I quit drinking on my half-birthday (June 26th) and I will resume again on my 19th birthday (December 26th), so I was sober the whole night, but I still had one hell of a time and I danced like I was drunker than ----, I was all over the place. I made 2 jack in the box runs, the first time getting 24 tacos, the second time 60 tacos, it was a fun time.

On to other news: Now that TKE week is over (I had to stay at the frat house everynight of the week last week), I'll be working on my car alot more, and I hope like hell I'll have it running by the time I move which will be sometime in December. As some of you may remember I just put that ---- back to stock, the d15b2 is just chillin in the engine bay, I'm waiting for when I have some time to go with boosted stinky nuts to get a bracket off of his parts car so I can bolt that ---- in. The ecu wiring is already back to stock and the ecu is in. I decided I want as little hassle as possible, so I'm going to do ---- real gradual this time, not like last time where I did the whole turbo setup and obd conversion all at the same time and I had all kinds of problems and I couldn't figure out wtf was the part that was ------- up. I probably won't be putting the rear discs on it, Jeff has been saying all along that the drums are just as good and they weigh less, so I'm finally going to listen to someone who knows wtf they're doing. So be looking for a mostly complete rear disc swap in the classifieds sometime in the next few months. I'll probably also try to unload all the other ---- I have that I'm not going to ever use again. The plan this time is to get the mpfi swap done first, have a stock mpfi d15 motor, then move on. Next will be the ecu (with wideband for some bitchin tuning), I'd really like to do megasquirt so I can get familiar with it because my dad has a 67 chevy truck that he wants to put a fuel injected motor in, and I want to have the ecu I'm going to put in there figured out so I can get the most out of the motor for my dad (and me, because of course I'll be ripping on the bitch).

Short term goals: fix my fucked up grade in differential equations. The problem I've having there is that I don't pay attention in class the few days that I go, and I don't read the book, so I'm working on guesses, and those aren't paying off too well. Officer elections for TKE are tomarrow, I've been nominated for historian and pledge educator, either one would be bad ass to do, the pledge educator is alot more work though. And of course, I want to get my car running asap, the 91 s10 I'm driving isn't the worst thing in the world, but I love my civic, and I miss just driving it, ---- a fast car for now, I just love the way the car feels.

you guys are pretty funny saying college is overrated, if you don't use it for the education at least use it for the women and social connections.

once I get my car running reliably I'll be making it out to socal again, I love hanging out with you guys.

during elections tonight I was nominated for one more position, seargent at arms (in charge of risk management and house management). I didn't get any of the positions, but I gained alot of respect for running for all the positions I ran for and giving pretty funny speeches and replies to questions.

college is def not over rated, i hate when people hate on people for going, sorry we have higher ambitions in life. but greek life...i dunno about that. i pledged sigma chi here 2 times, and they were all assholes. blah i dnt need to pay for friends. they booted me because i had 39 out of 40 interviews done for pledging, and we only had 3 days to do em, and only 12 active members in youngstwon, ---- them. haha sorry i had to get that off my chest

unfortunately, you can buy friends, but you can't buy ----- (at least not legally). One of the biggest hang-ups lately is that I'm not drinking, so technically if I ---- some drunk bitches the courts view that as rape, and I'm not into that, but as always the struggle continues.

I'll get you guys some pictures whenever I get a new camera. the flash broke on my sony dsc-p41, so I'm looking for a camcorder type deal that records .wmv movies to a memory card so I can get some good videos of me doing the crazy ---- that I do.

I don't know what I want to do with the b16 at this point. I'm 68% sure the rings/ringlands ate ---- while my car was running like crap, yet I was still driving the piss out of it. at this point I don't have the energy to rebuild it, but I don't really want to get rid of it, I'll probably leave it in my garage next to the ls block for a few years before I finally give all my car ---- away for free when I get a real job somewhere far away from where I live now.

i have 4 yrs of college under my belt, and i can tell you its overated.

college is fashionable right now. like bell bottoms were in the 70's service people are being paid more and more because people are finally realizing without us, their desk jobs would not exist.

its the service people who keep this country alive, not the pencil pushers.
when kids go to college, 80 percent of them are there to do drugs and ---- bitches, its the sad reality. and of the kids who graduate, i bet only 20 percent will ever get a job that falls within their major.

thats true. but its the engineers who went to college and the pencil pushers trying to sell product that give the service guys stuff to service ;) its all a loop and all works together. most kids just go to school because there upper middle class parents tell them to. they get some lame ass nursing or radiology job. Only reason im going is to learn. i could care less if i got a better job with it.

the only reason i am going to college next year is becaus it is free and i told my parents i would try it out for a year. that is the only good thing about new mexico is that they pay for college. on a side note i am going to nmsu and studing aerospace engineering. kyle there better be some good parties when i get down there

that might be true in some case, but alot of peopel i know got great jobs for their majors. mainly college is like a status symbol here. but i been in AWHILE now...lol i was 3/4 done with my 1st major and decided i hated it, so i went into business and love it. and once i get a degree i can just fall into a better position in the company i am wiht now, so i can see your point about not doing anything, but alot of people do get good jobs.
