Update on the cav *pics* 56k nono

Well heres what my charge piping looked like up until a few days ago. Charge pipes were probablt the hardest part of the install but Dave (Csaddict) worked some magic and made it happen!

^^ Thats the bottom section of the charge piping the goes under the motor. Yes those scrapes are from clearence issues O0

Finally got around to buying a grinder and took the time to grind the welds down. The pipe above is the only one that I hav't done yet. Took some primer, paint, and clear to the rest of the pipes.

Also painted my valve cover since I had a spare. It's not on the car yet, but this is what the one looks like on the car now.

This is the spare one that I painted and will be going on shortly.

And here she is now, havn't driven her for the past few weeks because the car had a problem where it just kept stalling at random and needed to be towed home a few times. I dropped the tank the other day and THINK i might have found the problem. I have a walbro 255lph pump that replaced the stock pump. Only problem is that when I put the walbro in, I used a rubber fuel injection hose to connect the pump to the sending unit. This was given to me in the install kit. Howvere, gm used an accordian style flextube because when the sending unit cup is locked into the tank, the line get squished and bend, so this accordian style tube wont kink. Howvere, the rubber hose i had was kinking and the car wouldnt start for days. I unloccked the sending unit out of the tank so the rubber line wasnt kinded and it fired right up. Just got the flexhose in the mail yesterday so that will be going on tomorrow. Hopefully, this was the cause of my lack of fuel pressure/leaning out as well. I still havn't had this thing running right since the day it was boosted. it keeps going lean. Replaced a shitload of parts, but hope this is the problem...

And my wonderful dash apart since I am still wiring up the light part on my gauges to come on with the headlights.

Thats all, i'll let you guys know what happens with that fuel hose when I replace it.

It's great to see something other than a turbo civic. 99.9% of modded cavaliers I've seen are driven by total ricers which makes this project in particular very cool. Keep up the good work.

That seems pretty neat. Hopefully you'll be able to make a video for HMT of this bad cav in action!!!
