Difficult to say, he's being tried under Iraqi law. If it were an international court for war crimes i'd be 100% with you. But those Iraqi's, they have witnessed enough death recently to not be put off by the human rights implications.

That and I think the only ones who could stop it (the international community) don't want to interfere with Iraq's already fragile political/legal system.
