unlocked jailbroken iPhone

Does anyone have one of these iPhones? They are supposed to work with other GSM providers. (not only at&t) If they do work, how is the speed?

Well, unlocked means any GSM phone will work with any GSM provider...

The speed will be determined by what data network your provider has.

I had Verizon which was very good in NYC, but now I have AT&T which is lacking. Egay has tutorials how to unlock the phone which means I can go back to Verizon but July 11 apple has a faster iPhone coming out.

By the way, instead of paying on ebay (like a moron), have you tried searching google for how to jailbreak it? Any info you can buy on ebay is also available for free online...

so, lets see, you signed up for a plan, used it, then didnt re-up when it was done, then they started charging you regular rates?

that sure sounds like a bad company to me. ::)

personally i have been with them when they were Voicestream back in 2001 and the only issues I had was a shitty Samsung phone I got that I ended up have to have replaced 3 times before I just got a different phone.

their customer service has always been great to me, and when I added my wife and jumped to the family plan things have been great.

never had a single issue with service that was THEIR fault, just the shitty phones fault.

The bills have always been 100% correct and I have never had to call in to get a bill fixed. Hell, I even got a 2 mth credit of service for the issue i had with that shitty samsung phone, granted it was the 13th and 14th month of the 1yr plan that we got free, but sure as ----, when the 13th and 14th month came around, our bill was $0 each month.

After July 11 the new iPhone will be coming out. I'd sell my old 8GB for $100 if anyone is interested after I pick up the newer version.

I've had ONE problem with T-Mobile, and that's only after I let it get into collections, then got ahold of a couple dumbasses at their customer service.

Other than that, for years and years, I've never had a problem with the bill, customer service has always been good, and the one time I did call about a problem (ringtones didn't download that I paid for) they paid me back as well as gave me free minutes without me having to ask.

I just wish they'd hurry up with the 3g network...

I had 4 unlocked 16 g's sold 3 an kept one had tmobile on it and it was like butter i sold myn though about a month ago now waiting for the 3g iphone that goes for 199 or 299 depending on the gigs and you only get that price if you extend your contract 2 years again or your paying retail believe that!!!! :y :6

P.S---also it shows up on the providers computers as "unknown gsm" so dont have to get that gay iphone plan that is mandatory for iphones for the text an internet!!!!

I had an iPhone and when I had to go to Europe I unlocked my mobile so that I can switch to the local sim of that country.I used the remote unlocking service from Unlocking4u.com and easily removed the network lock using their free instructions.Through this method we need not jailbreak the mobile hence I availed this unlocking method. The speed is according to my data plan and does not depend on the unlocking of the phone.
