Oh ---- we got a TKD guy! Everybody watch out, he might want to play tag... since that's all TKD is good for. Try Muay Thai, that style of striking is about inflicting pain, while still being agile.

To be successful in MMA nowadays it takes a combination of Wrestling/Jui Jitsu/and some form of standup whether it be Muay Thai, kickboxing, etc.. I agree that taking years of TKD doesn't do ---- for a person in a fight physically, but it definatley helps the mental aspect of fighting such as self dicipline.
