download the image burn it to cd aand then run live cd...

if everything works fine then that means your good to go.. and install it...

if you run live cd nd nothing works then just pass...

you should give kubuntu a try. its ubuntu linux heavily intergrated with KDE software. some good ----. next quarter at school is a strict linux course.whoopty dooo......!!!!!!!

the live cd? there's ways to get it to work, some lappys are just a bitch because they use so much off brand chingchongmeow non standardized hardware.
