TwinTurbo V12 final setting :)

So,after doing it 3 differents way, here is the final one ... "very good flow", no commun firing cylinder in each exhaust pipe.

I did weld it like a pig ... basically,I prefered to tripped all the welding, and then erode itif required. I just tested the all side at 30bars ... no leak.

I spend a long long time to make sure I can fit those big ass T04b from Garrett. This set up fit under the hood.
I am not happy of the "look of my welding, but I had to mix different kind of standless steel, and some time , it was getting too "sparking" ... I made sure that the penetration is very deep everywhere, it is what matter the most to me ... I don t want to burn the car...

I am now cutting a lot of little piece to steel to make heat shields ... I ll wrap the exhaust into a full thermal shield, but additional protection is required for the spark plugs wires.

Pretty sure that is going to make the turbo smoke like crazy. The absolute max you are suppose to tilt a tubo is something like 30 degrees.

Good luck with it though.

First off, what the ---- are you doing welding in your living room. Your moms going to kill you if you burn down the house. 2ndly, is that thing going to run or just go the stealthmode route and sit on jackstands. If it going to run, you may want to consider sitting the turbo flat for oil drain.
Just kidding about the living room, that fucken rocks.

The tillt is really a problem? I was planning to use a separated oil pump to feed them, what do you think?

will it :6 smoke? or damage them?

yeah, that ain't gonna work out very well at all. the oil drain is only gravity fed, and needs to be as straight down as possible

that thing looks like ---- and that motor is nothing but a cool ass looking paperweight. buy a pushrod v8 and stop mounting turbos half ass calked ------ style sideways upside down that will never work

Where do you live man? I just want to know if i might be finding a turbo on the street sometime soon. I doubt those fluxcore welds are going to hold up after everything heats up. What car is this going in anyways?

Hey man, i like the project your taking on and would like to help you do it right. Id love to make some nice stainless steel manifolds at cost for your car. email me at michaeljr@lsdmotorsports.com or pm me for more info. If ive disrespected the fluxcore welds at all, i apologize.

Where's the JB weld? What is this going in anyways? I'm the same as everyone else here about the angle of those turbos. YOu not gonna need a downpipes but upppipe as in smokes stacks and it's gonna be blowing out smoke signals saying "please fix me!" :S :X :S :X :S :6

I think LSD look like a pro, I am thinking giving him the job ... :)

O0 well, probably safer if he does it ... the only problem ... it is not home made any more :y

I ll see if he offer a good price, the cool side of him doing it, I can focus on the electronic part of the project.

I'd buy from him, it's still homemade, you're putting it together.
