9 psi on a junkyard settup with a fmu s fine, my buddy ran a fmu for 2 years on his ls on 8 psi on a 48/52 ihi turbo, then he blew it due to never checking his oil, in my opinion if you have a strong motor a small turbo and under 12 psi a fmu is fine, plus if he were to get uber data, a chip burner, a wideband , ---- that right there is more than he's spent on the wole car and turbokit, im sure if he keeps it a bigger turbo along with turboedit will be installed
