I have a 96 mazda mx6 it's a v-6 and i want to put a turbo on it. Does anyone know what is the max psi i can put on it without wearing out the engine? And is there another car that has matching headers?

its possible.. do more researching you sound like you dont even know what a flux-capacitor is !!

 

i actually saw an mx6 that was single turbo, probly running like 8-10 psi haad to of been a built engine ran low 13s on weld pro star drag wheels and slicks. unless you have some money or your really smart i wouldnt bother turboing.

 

 

They used to sell kits back in the day, I don't think they sold too many , but like they said it's going to require a lot of fabrication and custom work.

No other manifold fits right in, so you can't find them on a Junkyard or anything like it. You would need to make them.

The first gen MX6/Probe did come turbo with their inline 4 cyl. Search on google or yahoo for turbo kits and MX6 and also Probe GT, it might give you more information. If you do get it going, post pictures it would be nice to see something different. If you can't find too much information that should tell you right there you should not do it, someone more than likely has tried without success.

 

For that setup its going to get very expensive, very fast!
