Turbocharged jbodies....
I know some of you seem to think i'm one of very few but just to give you an idea.... this is a turbo J's list we started. Keep in mind these are only people who surf jbody.org and not all people admit to having such things so the numbers are higher...
just to give you guys an idea a couple years ago this listr was probably less than 5.

good thing you dident get a 97 sunfire. suposidly we had a woman in Denver have hers go out of control. she was doing 85 MPH andthe cops had to slow her down.. i dunno if its BS or what but here is the link to both the artical and the things that went wrong on the car.

The list is not in order at all
Whitey the fastest 3rd gen cav so far is speedracer who ran a 12.8
Stock trans, clutch and bottom end....
The two fastest J's that have posted proof of times are both second gen's.... One ran a 12.3 (curtis walker) the other ran a 12.4 at the st louis bash this past july.
There are a few like Johnny mack and some others that are running a ton of boost and nice setups. One person has 420 hp to the wheels and ran the 1/8 mile. Converted it was about an 11 second run. He's currently rebuilding his engine again for more

airtonics, do you know how fast a 96 2.2L (auto) with a turbocharger would be? I don't know if anyone has done this or not.
