Re:turbocalculator turbos?
people go 50/50 on their opinions on turbocalc.
some say they wait forever for the turbo to arrive, some say they get it right away. I emailed them once and they said the wait is more common on less common turbos that they have to wait to find a core to rebuild. just email them and ask all the good questions first. is it in stock? when will it ship? how is shipped? etc... |
Re:turbocalculator turbos?
i dont mind the wait, just how is the quality of their product...
|
Re:turbocalculator turbos?
i checked into turbocalculator, they are remanufactured turbos, so it should be pretty good quality. i would rather get one that had some major shaft play that was fixed, than a junkyard turbo with minor shaft play

Second, even if you were running a 105300 cam, why would you want to boost on a "stage 2 N/A cam"? |
Re:turbocalculator turbos?
u read right... y8, with a z6 cam.WHY? cuz it was CHEAP, and NEW
i had to set the timing 5 degrees advanced for it to fit. but its works. it is not a 105300. its 59300 |
Re:turbocalculator turbos?
regardless, that is not the point.
