whats your setup? mustang right?

the corollas are slow man... but compared to anything honda had in '85 the corolla gts was where it was at. good handling and with a lot of options... plus the interiors were great, for 85.

i was in my camaro...

i know they are slow, they look fine (the GTS) when they are stock. when they are riced out they look terrible.

the gook "drift" styling looks stupid on them also... you know what i mean

I always wanted a Toyota
well ae92 sedans/coupes (88-91) can be had for dirt cheap and the 4age 16v is a direct swap. another alternative is the aw11 mr2's . the ae92 sedan/coupe are fwd though

Eh, I missed reading that. No, sorry, in '85 we had the first CRX Si, and a D16A1 swap put those firmly in the 14.8-15.0, and they handle at least as well through the twisties as an AE86.

well stock for stock the si couldnt compete... and lets not forget looks (wich in the end are purely subjective, but lets be real).

vs.

lets not forget the fact that if toyota would have kept selling the starlet and its small rwd cars here in the US then the civic never would have been so popular. in almost every other market in the world toyota and nissan dominate the aftermarket while hondas are more of a less popular cult car.
