DEFINATLY not factory. My bro has the same sled and it sure doesn't have a turbo.

The expansion is the stock exhaust. It looks like they cut off the muffler and attached the flange.

In fact, I have a pic of my bro's engine...

Oh, and yes they do make turbo kits for snowmobiles.

Arctic Cat also came out with a factory 4-stroke turbo sled this year.

im waiting for honda to get its skit together and use there 4 cylinder turbo waverunner motor for a snowmobile.

i don't know anything about snowmobiles but the rust matched from the exhaust to the turbo so well, i thought maybe it has always been there ;D
