To turbo or not to turbo??
Yea i am considering turboing my 89 civic. I am new at the whole civic culture and do not want to be sought as a ricer. My car does got some ricerific parts such as the painted dash and 5 inch tach. Anyways i was wondering if i should turbo my car. I am not a mechanic but my dad is smart with cars. I got some pic links here and i would like your opinion. I also need some prices you think it will cost and how much gain for the money> Thanks.

Re: To turbo or not to turbo??
well the first thing to think about is suspention and brakes...don't spend all of your money on cosmetics and making the engine put out more power... and get some track time in if you don't already so you know how to handle the power....but i am an old man its your call

Re: To turbo or not to turbo??
^^^I'm with this guy. Boost it first, then if you're serious and want to go faster and handle, upgrade the suspension. What good is a killer suspension and massive brakes on a ~100whp car? :1

Re: To turbo or not to turbo??
he could drive.. there was construstion going on and no signs. he was only going 65 mph tops thats what the police said(on the interstate) and maybe it was unavoidable even with good brakes. i just feel guilty cause i built the engine (well modified it).
