On a side note: I'm not really up to speed on megasquirt yet, and there won't be any kind of a basemap when I go supercharged because there's only like 3 neons I know of that have that. Does anyone know how easy it is to create a basemap?

really? I was contemplating building it myself, but I don't have a lot of experience working with circuit boards, so I figured that I'd just buy an assembled one. But even then I haven't used the tuning tables, If you've got some experience with it I'd love some pointers. I've been on the megasquirt site a bit lately, but a lot of it seems to go over my head, I think because I don't have it here in my hands to work with.

Well if you look at the kits these days none of them are homemade for the exception of like 3 guys that make their own manifolds. If you don't use an equal length manifold you won't get any respect. If you use a T25 or 14B like back in the day everyone makes fun of you. Every once and awhile a "noob" will give you some respect and then BOOM moderator shoots you down. Most guys in the HMT forums are new guys to cars and this site gives them some insight into building a cheap, quick car by piecing together their own kit. And then as soon as they do some ------- MODERATOR says that they should push it off a cliff. If you don't like what other people do to their car shut down the site. Just because you don't like their car doesn't mean they don't. Apparently he put a lot of time into it and you should respect that. Maybe you make more money and have a lot more time to waste on-line posting about others cars doesn't mean you are better in any way. Aren't the moderators supposed to be the ones making this site good for everyone? And bashing a Neon when you have a Mustang in your avatar come on man! ---- this site I have better things to do.

Oh yea, and to the guy with the neon. Nice trailer, the not wearing shoes while sitting on your *** car in front of your single wide really added to the white trash effect.

Ha, that's in my parents driveway, that's their trailer they put in our front yard to house my Grandmother, but she's psycho, so we shipped her off to another place, now it's just open for any family person who wants to come stay in town.
