Turbo, or NA?
Help guys, i have a D16Z6 to work with, and ITB's, i cannot decide what route to go with, either NA, or turbo, my goal is 200HP to the wheels and running 13's to 14's. maybe more, i know turbo is a cheeper build but...honestly i dont know, give me some motivation.

Re:Turbo, or NA?
why do people ask this question on this site? I've seen it at least 3 times if not more. this is homemadeturbo.com not homemadenapower.com, what the ---- do you think we're going to tell you?

Re:Turbo, or NA?
Itb's are cool but you wont have 200hp :-X itb's with a turbo are a waste of time in my opinion. Turbo that ---- and be happy ;)

Re:Turbo, or NA?
There is nothing wrong with that question, yes i realize its home made turbo, but were all tuners here and we all know what engines are capable of, even jeff tried the ITB setup before. anyways i think i'm going to go FI, so now what would i need to make the engine survive 200hp, should i be doing rods? and will the CR of the D16Z6 be ok?

Re:Turbo, or NA?
N/A is what my grandmother drives...

Re:Turbo, or NA?
Then engine will hold 200hp easy.
Look at Pat's Setup...216 then 208 hp on his Z6 |
Re:Turbo, or NA?
A 9.2:1 CR, yeah I think that will be ok...

Re:Turbo, or NA?
alright, well i decided to go the turbo way... now i need to know, with 8.5CR at 10-12 psi of boost, what kind of gas milage will i get if i stay off boost?. will it still be the same. my setup is going to be the following, D16Z6 10-12 psi of boost, 8.5 or 9.5CR, jackson racing FMU with DSM injectors, intercooler and such.
