A friend of mine is building a turbo on a honda C50 equiped with 120 cc. He is using a IHi from a daihatsu Charade turbodiesel.

Does anyone knows where i can find flow characteristics?

I have been thinking of putting a turbo on my goped! does anyone know about a reallly small turbo that I can use? the turbo off of a 2000 vw passat is really small.....

they sell turbos for 4-wheelers. probably smaller than car turbos.

all the 4 wheeler guys and sled guys are using aerochargers

if you dont know what one is googlieze it.

Holy ---- that's an old Honda Trail 70!! I had a blue one like that I got for $6.00, :o 5 years ago.

Its a turbo from a daihatsu diesel engine. Thay are very wanted by people who want to build a turbo on their motorcycle. This is because its very small and still has goed charactaristics.

The exhaust make the bike look very nasty, in a good way i mean ;D

Heard that draw through setups are a bitch to start when the engine is cold. Also icing of the carb can occure at low ambiant temperatures.

The bike started pretty fast (after we had put some gas in the bike :)) But the turbo needs to get hot to function properly. The sound is great by the way and it's a Harley exhaust welded on the original manifold.
It took about 3 days to make it fit and get it on the road but's its worth the time :)

I dont know if the turbo builds any boost. We were so excited we didn't build the pressure meter in YET!!! This weekend we'll show the bike to honda driving people in the Netherlands. But after that its back in the shed and rip it apart. The crank shaft was bad when we put it in. We've driven about 5 miles now and its very bad now so... But when its apart we also want to fix a pressure meter because we're also very intrested in the charactaristics. So I'll keep you informed.

The person who opend this topic Stoterstangen90 is also working on his tubo it will be slightly different and he hopes to get it finished before this weekend. So after this weekend I'll also have some pictures of his bike and turbo and i'll show it to you guys to

ah yeah 6 hmmm.
I got 2 friends with turboed swift gti's but they're not on here. one of them had a hybrid engine 1.6 liter with the GTi head turboed..but it blew after the race. It was fast though

idd. but bike is not ready yet. And i want to put an intercooler too.

and the blue bike has a fucked up crancshaft now.

This problem is solved we just bought a racing crankshaft :D
I've just cleaned the turbo and polished the aluminium parts. In about 2 weeks the bike will be finished and we can finally work on finetuning the bike. I'll keep you informed
