turbo deisel ef hatch?

So I currently have an 82 Mercedes Turbo Diesel running on SVO (Straight Vegetable Oil), and it does just fine. Next is the step to WVO (Waste Vegetable Oil). All it will need is moisture and contaminates removal to run it. There are no modifications needed to do this with a direct injection car, such as a Mercedes. Also, I can run it straight, becuase I live in Arizona, and don't have to worry about gelling of the oil. In colder climates, this is a real problem, as the oil gets thick and sometimes solid. This is where bio-diesel conversion comes in to play. The conversion is needed to convert the oil into a stable fuel for colder temperatures. Some processes do this by diluting the oil with gasoline (such as www.dieselsecret.com), others by by mixing with lye and other caustic stuff (such as the process seen on "Trucks").

WVO is by far the cheapest (free), but with some work to it for filtering. SVO is not that much cheaper than regular diesel when purchased new in jugs, but there is some savings, and it better for the environment. Processes such as diesel secret end up at about 56cents per gallon, while higher end processes cost more per gallon.

I had thought about putting a rabbit diesel engine into a CRX and turbo'ing the ---- out of it, but just don't have the time. This UK diesel engine solution would be much better, as long as I got the whole front section of the car imported. Still a lot of work to do this just for fun.

thanks for the info but i still couldn't find one. im using the net from my cell phone also, so its slow and can't do a lot of the things a comp can. if someone could look it up for me it would be cool.

the greade part is not easy to do ---- ya it was for me go toe greasel.com man and order one of there kits i have one on my 82 vw rabbit ls diesel 2 door works like a charm u have two tanks with fuel selecter i will hwlp u man it easy do it man

the greade part is not easy to do ---- ya it was for me go toe greasel.com man and order one of there kits i have one on my 82 vw rabbit ls diesel 2 door works like a charm u have two tanks with fuel selecter i will hwlp u man it easy do it man
huh? thanks for the help...... i think. try english next time and it would work a lot better.

Now all you need is a flux capaciter and if you can get up to 88mph in that thing then its back to the future for you.

the grease part is not easy to do, but it was for me, go to www.greasel.com and order one of the kits, i have one on my 1983 vw rabbit ls diesel 2 door, works like a charm, you have two tanks with a fuel selector, i will help you man its easy to do.

dont they have heated tanks for that

i saw it somewhere dont remember where.. its basically a small heater.. and it runs off of a seprete battery that will keep it hot for 8 hours i think.. and when u get home just keep the heater plugged in.. and u can turn the heater system off when the weather gets warmer..
