Winter time city 4-5 mile trips at college: 20-25mpg
Summer time mixed mileage, 30-35 with 40 highway mpg

All on a low comp basemapped Z6 at 11psi

Lol.

So far, not much worse than the NA B series in the CRX.

Hmmmm.

Just one more reason to finally build a turblow hondur.

Re: Turbo D fuel mileage?

The mileage will be roughly the same unless you are crazy rich or something is wrong.

A moderately sized turbo and good fuel management won't jurt mileage really.

Re: Turbo D fuel mileage?

90 crx si, stock sohc zc, lx transmisson, hf /w tbird 60/48, 2 1/2" exhaust (no cat), dsm 450's, turbo edit, timing advanced for the lean burn with my afrs sitting around 15.5-16.2 at cruise. = 44mpg. in town its about 25-28 mpg

I know I could have got better mpg, but I sat in traffic for about 45min at. I went about 300 miles and then I filled up because I thought my sending unit got fucked up or somthing, because It said I still had about 1/3 tank.

Re: Turbo D fuel mileage?

I get about 36-37 highway and about 20 in town with a heavy foot.

my setup is a bone stock longblock d16z6 and a very short gear'd japanese non-lsd ZC trans. if i didnt have the zc trans i know it'd be in the mid-high 40s on the highway. Cooking along in 5th @ 70mph turning 3500rpms doesn't make a z6 very happy

/edit: and this is all tuned on crome by me w/ part throttle AFRs in the mid-high 15s at low load transistioning to mid 11s under boost and timing maps made to look like stock z6 maps
