Turbo Coolant question

Ok... I've read a few posts on this specific topic and while reading I thought of an alternative solution. My current radiator works but its on its way out. I was thinking about tapping in a new top and bottom bung on the radiator with some JB Weld and run the lines from the turbo straight to the radiator and back. Is this at all possible? If not, feel free to rip me up on this one. Im a little unsure about this myself. But like I said, I can't do too much harm to my radiator at this point anyway. Now I just need to know if this system can provide enough coolant flow? Thanks

Re:Turbo Coolant question

I suppose if there was some way to tee off of the coolant lines coming off the radiator inlet & outlet, maybe... Otherwise, I don't think there would any positive pressure one way and vacuum pressure the other way (or however you want to think about it).

I would think they would both want to flow in--->

Re:Turbo Coolant question

That would not work because the radiator is pressurized, coolant would be trying to flow in both sides of the turbo. but the coolant thing is easy, there are two coolant lines going to your throttl body, take the off the throttle body( you don't need them) and run those to you turbo. Actually they might go to the iac, not the tb but anyway.

Re:Turbo Coolant question

You can just tee into one of the IAC lines. cut it, put a 90o barbed fitting on it and put a straight fitting on the other side, run the coolant lines next to your oil feed around the motor, and plug em in. it doesn't matter which line goes on which side of the turbo.
