was up guys, i have a 98 malibu 3.1 v6 and i haave been lookin for a turbo upgrade but no luck. i have a turbo and was wondering if i need low compression pistons or heads for the motor?

you don't need either.. low comp pistons make it easier to tune and give you the option of having forged.

3.1... hmm, I know some 3.1's came turbo in the past, pushed out 205 horsepower and 225 foot-pounds of torque stock.. so i'd say right about there :P

I know of a guy who used old GTP Grand Prix parts to convert his GT grand prix to GTP (turbo), but he had two oil feeds into the turbo and no drain. ::)

You probably need a intake re-seal first :-X

no the old (90s) were turboed not very long or many but they did come with a turbo dumbass

There was no turbocharged GTP.. GTP's came into play in 1991, when the turbocharged models were dropped ;) So there was a Grand Prix Turbo but no Grand Prix GTP Turbo ^-^
