I was on pump gas, It came out of a pump ;)
I'm just saying a 1.9 60ft time is damn good on regular tires. I never seen that happen on a FWD expecially with a turbo. Your 60ft was better than the goddamn bike your were racing

he wasn't racing it. It was someone else.
Maybe because of the heavier engine up front he had more grip

Its not overly uncommon for our 60fts to be better than most other fwd's

My car with only a few mods when I ran a 16 flat I still had a 2.2 60ft time which I'm sure is much better now.

In my car with 6 psi my turbo is spooled right after launch and I dont spin a whole lot at all. I'm not overly suprised.

Again just to make sure its known...this was not my car running the 12.8

The heavier motor has nothing to do with the 60.' A properly set up suspension will keep your weight over the front wheels and prevent the weight transfer on the launch. If you ever ran at the track with street tires in a FWD a 1.9 60' is really hard to do becuase you spin really easily. The only cars I've ever seen doing under 2 60' times are AWD cars on street tires.

Not to mention we're talking about a turbo car with lag so that kills your 60' even more. And if your getting traction in 1st gear during spool on street tires than thats also insane.

I wanna know what kinda tires and suspension this car was running.

sorry to say but i have to call bs on the 60 foot

No bs on it I'm sure... anyways I talked to him he used to have bf goodrich tires and he was getting 2.3 60fts which is normal for our cars. He switched to a goodyear tire and he said when it does a burnout they stick instead of turning to goo

Its partially the tires but he didnt know offhand what they were. Doesnt matter much I'll find out at next years bash and see how he runs

Yeah they're called cheater slicks. That timeslip looks perfect for a car on slicks. Just compare it to my time and you can see the difference between true street tires and slicks

2.122 1.995 He's ahead by .127
5.539 5.831 He's ahead by .292
8.383 8.650 Hes ahead by .267
84.02 88.83 Now traction is kicking in and I
have him by 4.81 mph
10.830 10.990 Now that I have traction the times are
starting to equal out only a .16 diff.
12.976 12.946 only a .076 diff.
110.47 112.87 I trapped 2.4 mph higher

See how much of a difference slicks make. I mean the times don't lie, he kicked my ass till the 1/8 mile than the times start equalling out except for the mph where I beat him because my car took off after I got traction

If these are REGULAR street tires that can be used for more than 5,000 miles than I want to know what they are becuase I'll buy 20 sets of them. Just looking at the slips with traction my slip is a good mid 12 second run.

Just by judging by the difference in MPH you can clearly see that I have the HP advantage and traction disadvantage. If they were normal 50,000 mile tires than that slip would probably only say a low 13.

I don't mean any disrespect at all, I mean its a 12 second car no doubt but the street tire seems a bit shady to me. and also how he doesn't know what kind of tire he ran on but knows how good they are and knows what tire he ran before?
