the other day i was reading someware about putting your turbo in the back of your car to keep it cooler.seems
someone tried this and was able to boost higher with no problems.just cost him more money for the piping.
anyone heard of doing this

That was in some magazine recently. I think it was in the new Turbo mag and it was some kit for the Tundra. I think it would be a good idea for a v6 or v8 and not have to mess around with the two manifolds but for a inline engine it wouldn't be worth it.

what whitley said, this has been discussed many times, and i think we concluded that there were many benifits/disadvantages to it. oil line problems, turbo lag, the fact of scraping it on driveways and such...
